An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join the inclusion team within our school.
Working within the Inclusion Team, the role of Teaching Assistant benefits both the students and the school. It has been designed to enable vulnerable students who require a holistic programme of support to reach their full potential. Your role will include helping students to overcome their barriers to learning, supporting their access to the curriculum and acting as a role model within the school.

As a Teaching Assistant Level 3, you will:
● Work with individual students and small groups on specific learning tasks and interventions, following agreed plans.
● Work with classroom teachers to deliver tailored learning activities, ensuring that students can participate and engage fully in classroom activities.
● Work closely with teachers, the SENCO and external professionals to provide support to pupils with specific learning, emotional or behavioural needs.
● Liaise with teachers, parents/carers and other professionals as directed.
● Support the teacher in creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
● Encourage students to develop self-confidence, independence, and emotional resilience.
● Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the teacher and contributing to reports.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:
● Passionate about supporting children both academically and across all aspects of their development
● An excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
● Calm, resilient and patient when faced with challenges
● Able to create a positive, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
● Able to adapt to meet the needs of all students
